Length of Stay
Length of stay is dependent upon the needs of each individual. There are many factors that contribute to how long a woman should stay in treatment, including but not limited to: commitment to treatment, medical necessity, severity of addiction, and any co-occurring mental health disorders.
According to addiction researchers, the longer one stays engaged in treatment the better outcomes are achieved. This is especially true for women, as they typically enter treatment in more severe conditions than men.
At The Fearless Kind, we have treatment curriculum built for 90-days. This means that if a woman is able to stay for the full 90-days, she will never receive duplicated content.
Nutrition and Wellness
Patient nutrition is closely monitored during treatment at The Fearless Kind facility. We provide all meals and snacks for all patients. Upon intake, patients are asked about any food restrictions, allergies, or cultural/religious food preferences.
The provision of balanced meals and snacks are included in our treatment program, as we believe that nutrition is a valuable piece of the healing process. Sugar and caffeine intake are closely monitored during treatment.
Patients living with co-occurring eating disorders are provided with meal plans by our registered dietitian; physical evaluation and assessment by our medical director; meal support by our staff; and additional supervision necessary to monitor any behaviors associated with disordered eating or diagnosed eating disorders.
